The campaign for the presidential election scheduled on November 2nd has started. 14 candidates enrolled in the race for Cotroceni, who will be able to make known their programs and electoral messages through street displays, press, Internet, as well as rally, radio and television. The Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company will reflect the election campaign at Radio Romania News, Radio Villages’ Antenna, regional studios and Radio Romania International broadcasting stations. Romanian soldiers who participated in missions in Afghanistan are psychological tested for the post-traumatic stress syndrome. It can occur after a rough experience, especially on the front, in conditions of war, or after acts of violence. Soldiers from Craiova town are the first who talked with psychologists in a special established center. They say that psychological preparation and family are the factors that helped them go through difficult situations, with great emotional charge, seen in theaters of operations. The Center for Social and Behavioral Research was established for the first time by The Minister of National Defence, after 12 years in which Romania had troops in the theater of operations in Afghanistan. Nearly 300,000 Romanian are living and working in Germany

Nearly 300,000 Romanian are living and working in Germany and they are very well integrated in the labor market and in the society, said the German Minister of Labour, Andrea Nahles, in Bucharest. After a meeting with his Romanian counterpart, Rovana Plumb, Andrea Nahles also said that the very good bilateral relation must be extended from national to local level through partnerships between cities in Romania and Germany. By the end of the year, the two countries will sign up a Memorandum of Understanding to support young people, vulnerable groups and elderly people, specified Rovana Plumb, who praised the way the federal government treats and respects Romanian workers. The partnership based on the Romanian-German exchange of experience will be supported with funds from the European Union.  (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
