Romania and Serbia are proposing a series of joint projects in important areas, such as infrastructure, cross-border cooperation and energy interconnectivity, said in Belgrade President Klaus Iohannis after meeting his counterpart, Tomislav Nikolic. On the other hand, he expressed our country’s willingness to assist Serbia in the European integration process. President Klaus Iohannis met with Romanians living in Serbia, teling them that they must remain united. He also said that the Romanian minority should enjoy all the fundamental rights enshrined in international documents, be it representation, access to education, religious service or press in native language. Multinational military exercise Sea Shield 15, in the Black Sea

Troops and ships from the Romanian Naval Forces will participate, between the 20th and 24th of July, in the multinational military exercise against submarines Sea Shield 15, in the Black Sea, organized by the Romanian Naval Forces, which aims to develop international cooperation in the defense area with similar structures of NATO member and partner states to strengthen and develop combat common procedures. NATO naval Group, currently in mission in the Black Sea, will also participate in training activities. Participating in the exercise will be eight military ships and three Romanian aircraft, as well as a submarine, five foreign aircraft and six foreign military ships, on board of which there will be 2,000 Romanian and foreign troops from seven NATO member states: Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, The Netherlands, Portugal, United States of America, Turkey plus Ukraine. Message of President Klaus Johannis for the Romanians living in Serbia

President Klaus Johannis told Romanians living in Serbia that they must be united to preserve their identity. During his official visit to Belgrade, the Head of State stressed that the Romanian minority should enjoy all the fundamental rights enshrined in international documents.
