Romania participates in the collective effort of EU member states on refugee crisis management, says President Klaus Iohannis

Romania is not affected by migration flows in the Western Balkans, but it participates in the collective effort of European Union member states on refugee crisis management. At a press conference which took place yesterday, following the talks in Brussels with leaders of other Central and Eastern European countries, President Klaus Iohannis highlighted Romania’s contribution to the relevant European agencies. „Romania”, said President Iohannis, „is not a country of transit or a destination for this flow of refugees. I proposed an increased support for Greece; on the other hand, a greater cooperation with Turkey and a better cooperation between countries located on the Western Balkan route”. Official visit of President of the Chamber of Deputies, Valeriu Zgonea, in Washington

The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Valeriu Zgonea, will pay a two-day official visit to Washington at the invitation of the the president of the working group on terrorism and unconventional warfare in Congress, Robert Pittenger. Romanian parliamentary delegation, led by Valeriu Zgonea, participates at the third edition of the Parliamentary Forum on security and intelligence issues. The event aims to continue discussions on cybersecurity commenced in previous editions, such as the need to combat financing terrorist activities of the Islamic State and information policies. Bucharest – Forum on the automotive industry and road infrastructure

Foreign investors in Romania and government officials will discuss today about  the automotive industry and road infrastructure at a forum held in Bucharest. The meeting will be attended by representatives of the Ministries of Transport and European Funds,
as well as representatives of automotive plants, who will talk about the way in which the infrastructure status influences the development of this industry. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
