Alongside US ships dislocated in Rota Naval Station performing patrolling missions in the Mediterranean, we will end the second phase of the European Phased Adaptive Approach. This will allow us to integrate the Deveselu base into NATO’s ballistic missile defense system next year altogether with other voluntary contributions of the member states. And this is important as we are going to be able to work on declaring the Initial Capability of the NATO BMD system during the Summit in Warsaw.
