President Klaus Iohannis is to receive a delegation from the World Bank at Cotroceni Palace, led by Vice President for Europe and Central Asia, Cyril Müller. The meeting comes after the government in Bucharest and this financial institution signed a memorandum on Monday to support the process of public administration’s modernization in the country. Discussions between representatives of the Judicial Inspection and the American delegation led by ambassador Hans Klemm

Improving the quality of justice and the Judicial Inspection role in this process through independent verification was one of the topics discussed by the management of the institution with a delegation from the United States Embassy in Bucharest. The meeting lasted more than an hour, the discussion focused on current topics from the performance and the competence of the institution. The American delegation was led by Ambassador Hans Klemm. The Romanian ambassador in Oslo today will have a discussion with the Norwegian Minister of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion

The Romanian ambassador in Oslo will have a discussion today with the Norwegian Minister of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion, in an attempt to clarify the situation of Bodnariu family separated from their five children. The meeting comes two months following the request made by the Romanian authorities. Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos urged to be personally informed about the progress of the case and expressed his hope that the Norwegian authorities will provide faster data required. President Klaus Iohannis also announced that he is concerned about the situation of Bodnariu family. Romanian President said that he supports the efforts to ensure human rights for Romanian citizens wherever they are. The five children were taken by the Norways’ Child Protection Body, allegedly because they received physical corrections from their parents. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
