French President Francois Hollande will visit Romania this year – the announcement was made after the meeting in Paris with Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos. The two have appreciated the very good results of the partnership between the two countries and also agreed that Romania’s place is in the Schengen Area. Last night, Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos discussed with Romanian students and master’s degree students from the Institutes of Political Studies in Paris and attended the concert marking the National Day of Romanian Culture, a concert given by maestro Eugen Doga. Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos continues his official visit to Paris with a meeting with French business environment representatives. He plans to invite small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for which there would be potential in the agro-food and energy sectors. Meanwhile, Dacian Cioloş aims to identify new business opportunities for Romanian exporters. Yestarday, Romanian Prime Minister said that the economic aspect is a key goal of the visit in the French capital. He also said that he is in favor of a more visible Romanian presence in France, stating that there are areas in Romania that can have a real potential for export, while in the coming period the government intends to give a pragmatic and proactive economic approach.
