An anti-corruption campaign starts on Monday in the 14 border border crossing points between Romania, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. Flyers and leaflets will be handed out until Friday with the purpose of raising the awareness of citizens with respect to the risk they expose themselves when dealing in border-related crimes. Responsible behavior and eliminating the risks of corruption at border and educating the citizens transiting Romania’s borders with Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova are some of the requirements imposed by the General Anti-Corruption Directorate in Romania in „Anti- corruption at borders” Week, which begins today. „Corruption does not pass along here!’ – it is the motto of the program which is launched today at Sighet border crossing point. Bucharest entered into the typical atmosphere of winter holidays

Romanian capital Bucharest entered into the typical atmosphere of winter holidays – children and adults can enjoy traditional dishes and objects, performances and skating. The biggest event is the Christmas Fair in Constitution Square, opened every day from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm until 30th December. Many gifts can also be purchased at fairs organized by the Romanian Village Museum and by the Museum of the Romanian Peasant, where hundreds of craftsmen and artisans from all over the country expose their products and they are ready to show the kids how different traditional objects are made.
