Dacia sees record sales in France in 2017

Dacia sees record sales in France in 2017 with about 120,000 cars sold – announced the French manufacturer Renault. Sandero is the best-selling Dacia model in France and it is ranked 8th among the top ten cars.  Duster SUV has also seen increasing sales volumes as its new generation was released. Dacia brand holds third position on the French car market regarding cars sold to individual customers. Dacia was taken over by Renault in 1999 and managed to become a notorious player on the European car market. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

The first exercise in this year to verify alarm systems for the population in the event of a disaster will take place today across the country between 10:00 and 11:00. According to the Romanian General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, such exercises take place since last August on the first Wednesday of each month. Depending on their duration, alarm signals have the following meanings: the air alarm consists of 15 sounds of 4 seconds each, with a pause of 4 seconds between them, the natural disaster alarm has 5 sounds of 16 seconds each, with a pause of 10 seconds between them and the air pre-alarm consist of 3 sounds of 32 seconds each, with a pause of 12 seconds between them. The most common situations in which the population is alarmed, through electric and electronic sirens, are the floods. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

Foreign Ministry warns citizens who want to travel to the Netherlands

Foreign Ministry informs Romanian citizens who want to travel to the Netherlands that a yellow code warning for strong wind will be valid on Wednesday. The most affected area will be the western coast of the Netherlands, where wind gusts of up to 115 km/h are expected. In a press release, representatives of Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam warned that there is a possibility that flights may be delayed or even canceled because of the strong wind.
