Prime Minister of Romania Viorica Dancila pays an official visit to Chisinau on Tuesday, during which she will reconfirm Romania’s support for the European path of the Republic of Moldova. Other topics of the Romanian Prime Minister’s visit are the continuation of joint projects and the consolidation of bilateral economic relations. In a government statement, Prime Minister Viorica Dancila said that the joint projects of Bucharest and Chisinau are meant to contribute to a closer connection of the Republic of Moldova to the European space and to improving citizens’ lives. European Commission First Vice-President Frans Timmermans will pay a visit to Bucharest

European Commission First Vice-President Frans Timmermans will pay a visit to Bucharest on Thursday. According to a press release of the European Commission Representation in Bucharest, Frans Timmermans will meet with President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Viorica Dancila and the Presidents of the two Chambers of Parliament Calin Popescu-Tariceanu and Liviu Dragnea. European Commission First Vice-President will also have meetings with representatives of the judiciary and with members of the parliamentary committee responsible for amending the laws of justice, after which he will hold a press conference. Frans Timmermans has in portfolio a good lawmaking and the rule of law. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

The only Romanian mountain culture festival, the Alpin Film Festival, will begin on Tuesday

The only Romanian mountain culture festival, the Alpin Film Festival, will begin on Tuesday. The event takes place until Sunday in the towns of Brasov, Predeal and Busteni. The festival, now at its third edition, proposes to the public dozens of film projects, book presentations, photo exhibitions and public debates about the mountain universe and climbing. Moreover, the festival has an impressive educational component and proposes some undiscovered  encounters on topics such as protected areas, education for mountain tourism and 100 years of mountain tourism in Romania. The projections and events will be attended by well-known mountain climbers and people of the mountain from Romania but also from abroad. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
