IMF Delegation Chief: "Romania Should Encourage a Flexible Working Force Allowing Growth"
29 Iulie 2010 19:43
Experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) were considering on Thursday the way Romania enforced the Single Wage Law in the public sector and the draft law on pensions. Both bills were part of the bailout agreement signed recently. Jeffrey Franks, the head of the IMF delegation, said after the meeting that he thought that no problems would emerge if parliament were to pass the two bills this fall. "We understand there is a pressure in parliament for other emergencies but we expect there wouldn't be any problem if the bills were adopted by September this year", Mr. Franks said as quoted by RADIO ROMANIA.
