Romania will financially support the Republic of Moldova
Romania will financially support Moldova, but conditions granting the first tranche of 150 million euros by concrete reform measures which would ensure it a European path – Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis told Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip. The results of the first International Monetary Fund (IMF) visit to Chisinau will also count.
During his first foreign visit in Bucharest after being sworn in, the new Moldovan premier promised to obtain the expected results. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
Nearly three quarters of Romanian companies use social networks for promotion, sales and recruitment
Nearly three quarters of Romanian companies use social networks for promotion, sales and recruitment. The conclusion comes from a recent survey by the audit and consulting firm Ernst & Young. The research was based on 270 responses received regarding online marketing and its current impact. According to the analysis, the social network Facebook remains the most preferred. It is followed by LinkedIn and YouTube. 36% of respondents claim that they use such a mean of communication daily – 4% less than last year. A quarter admit they also resort to promotional activities and over 90% believe that the use of social networks in this way give them a competitive advantage. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
Romanian justice minister hopes that the MCV for Romania will be abandoned
European Commission’s report in the Mechanism for Cooperation and Verification (MCV), which will be presented today in Brussels, contains an assessment of reforms in the justice and home affairs which is generally positive and it will not be a surprise – said Romania’s Justice Minister Raluca Pruna after the informal meeting of European Union’s ministers of justice and home affairs in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She expressed hope that, in a near future, both Romania and the European Commission will conclude that the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism is not useful and that this report will be abandoned.
