Turkey and Romania are determined to strengthen their bilateral relations in all fields

Turkey is the second economic partner of Romania after the European Union and Ankara and Bucharest are determined to strengthen their bilateral relations in all fields, stated yesterday Klaus Iohannis and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who held talks in the Turkish capital. President Iohannis strongly condemned recently terrorist attacks in Turkey and Europe and said that there should be a common and firm response in fighting them. In turn, the Turkish leader said that terrorism has the same effect anywhere in the world and believes that this scourge can be eliminated if there is solidarity among all countries. The two heads of state also discussed about  building a mosque in Bucharest, which, according to Turkish President, would be the most beautiful expression of dialogue and solidarity between the two countries. A book of condolences for the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in Brussels will be opened today and tomorrow at the Belgian Embassy in Bucharest on Dacia Boulevard, between 10 -12 and 14-16. Romania will hold one day of national mourning on Thursday. The flags will be flown at half-staff. The government recommended radio and television stations to adapt their programs. Romania will hold one day of national mourning on Thursday in memory of victims of Tuesday terrorist attacks in Brussels. Across the country flags are lowered to half-staff and local TV and radio stations and the cultural institutions adapt their programs. The Belgian Embassy in Bucharest announced on a social network that today and tomorrow, between 10:00 am to 12:00 am and between 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., a book of condolence is opened.  (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
