Romania’s main objective in the context of Brexit negotiations

More than 250,000 Romanians live in the United Kingdom, according to Romanian authorities’ estimates. Romania’s main objective in the context of Brexit negotiations is defending the rights of Romanian nationals who work and study in the United Kingdom, said the Minister Delegate for European Affairs, Ana Birchall. „Defending the interests and rights of Romanian nationals who are in the United Kingdom for work or study or who live there and want to make a future in this country is at the core of current negotiations over Brexit. So this is, if you like, the main objective pursued by Romania in negotiations to be held in a unitary voice at EU level.” said Ana Birchall. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)/astrugar
