Infrastructure is one of the government’s priorities, said Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu. Romania will continue to work with France to train medical specialists in burn centers and in radiotherapy field, said Health Minister, Florian Bodog. He discussed the issue with François Saint-Paul, French Ambassador to Bucharest. „In the first stage”, said Florian Bodog, „doctors from Plastic Surgery Center in Timisoara will go to training courses. At the same time, we will have a specialist training program for radiotherapy centers. Ministry of Health, through World Bank, began the process of purchasing five radiotherapy equipment, seven are still to come and I had preliminary talks to form hospital managers, also through a joint program with France”. Romanian Health Minister also said that Pasteur Institute in France could assist us in order to re-launch the activity at Cantacuzino Institute for Immunology by implementing a common European-funded project.
