The government has allocated over 11.5 million lei to restore infrastructure in counties affected by heavy rains in the last period. The money comes from the intervention fund at the disposal of the Government and will be distributed in Alba, Gorj, Iasi, Maramures and Vaslui counties, where they will be used for the rehabilitation of county, communal or village roads, reconstruction of streets, bridges and rustic bridges. Allocated amounts were determined following requests from local public administrations and inspectorates for emergency situations, but also based on assessments made by prefectures in the respective areas. Hundreds of Romanian, British and American soldiers, alongside with ships and combat planes, will train starting today, for four days, in the Black Sea. An American destroyer equipped with cruise missile launchers also participates in exercises. „King Ferdinand” frigate, „Lieutenant Dimitrie Nicolescu” and „Lupu Dinescu” maritime dredgers, together with the American destroyer USS „Oscar Austin”, will perform anti-submarine fighting procedures and procedures to fight against surface threats. There will also be anti-aircraft combat exercises and the simulation of the air enemy will be provided by two Romanian Air Force MIG21 LanceRs and two Typhoon fighter jets from Royal Air Force. The USS Destroyer „Oscar Austin” is equipped with long-range Tomahawk cruise missile launchers and with naval artillery systems, launch systems, anti-submarine torpedoes which allow the enemy to be destroyed over a radius of over 1,000 kilometers. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns Romanian citizens wishing to travel to Norway

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs Romanian citizens wishing to travel to the Kingdom of Norway that the Ministry of Justice and Public Security in Oslo announced the extension until November of the control measure of people entering the country on shipping routes from Denmark, Germany and Sweden. The passport is the only valid travel document at the crossing of the Norwegian border. Norwegian passenger shipping companies are instructed to refuse to board any person who does not have a valid passport.
