Prime Minister Viorica Dancila will welcome on Monday at Victoria Palace the US Ambassador in Bucharest, Hans Klemm. The Government’s Spokesperson Nelu Barbu stated that the meeting between Prime Minister Dancila and Ambassador Klemm, which will take place at 10:00 hours at Victoria Palace, is the first of a series of such meetings that the Romanian premier will hold in the upcoming period with representatives of foreign embassies to Romania. New protests against the government took place in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Sibiu

In Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Sibiu there were new protests last night against the government, the so-called tax revolution and changes to the laws of justice. Protestants chanted slogans against the executive and coalition in power. Similar events took place in other cities in the country, namely in Iasi, Braila and Targu Mures.  (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns on weather conditions in Bulgaria

Twenty-two regions in Bulgaria will also be affected on Monday by precipitation in form of snow and rain accompanied by strong winds.  Among the areas for which Bulgarian meteorologists have issued Code Yellow warnings are Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse and Varna. There is also a Yellow Code warning for precipitations in form of snow in capital Sofia region, where a layer  of 10 cm of snow will be registered  and there might be black ice. Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends Romanian citizens to carefully monitor the situation in areas with bad weather warnings, where some roads may be closed to traffic.  (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
