Road traffic is closed on Transfăgărăşan, between Bâlea Falls and Cârţişoara

Road traffic will be closed on Transfăgărăşan, between Bâlea Falls and Cârţişoara. The measure will be in force until 14:00 and was imposed to allow engineers to blow up several rocks that endanger the traffic. Authorities call on drivers to search for information, before traveling, about the areas that they are about to cross, to drive carefully and respect the restrictions imposed on this road.

Platform Romania 100 filed a number of criminal charges following the Friday night protest, in the capital

On Monday, Platform Romania 100 filed criminal charges at the Prosecutor’s Office, against the head of the riot police, the internal affairs minister, Carmen Dan and the Bucharest prefect, , Speranţa Cliseru. Forer prime minister, Dacian Cioloş, said that they condamned the brutal intervention of the riot police during the demonstration on Friday night, in Victoriei Square. He added that infiltrated people and a disproportionated reaction of the authorities caused the manifestation to degenerate. Dacian Cioloş thinks that people have to know who is morally and politically responsible for what happened on Friday.

Railway traffic delayed after a train carrying petroleum oils fell over a bridge, in Olt

Trains travelling from Timişoara, Arad and Craiova towards Bucharest are more than three hours and a half late. They have been rerouted, after a goods train fell, yesterday, from a bridge that broke, in a town in Dolj. In Timişoara and Craiova delays have also been reported. Authorities say that the situation will not change today and that CFR is trying to reduce the time spent at the ends of the routes./aionita
