Doctors from the Central Military Hospital in Bucharest are considering a collaboration in the field of nuclear medicine with the researchers from the ultra-high intensity laser project at Magurele. In the future, a much more accurate diagnosis can be made following a minimally invasive exam, with efforts and costs as low as possible. General Director of the Central Military Hospital in Bucharest Brigadier General Florentina Ionita Radu says that such an investigation is also the one called PET-CT, which has been serving lately not just to oncology but also neurology and cardiology. The new Iernut thermal power plant will be put into service at the beginning of the year

The new Iernut thermal power plant, in Mures county, will be put into service at the beginning of 2020 and it will operate for at least 30 years on the energy markets in our country. Romgaz’s investment amounts to nearly 270 million euros. Construction works started a year ago with a Romanian-Spanish partnership and it must be completed in January 2020. This is the first investment in the energy field with state contribution, the cuantum being 25%. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns that in Greece there is a high risk of fire in the Attica peninsula, in Peloponnese, in Voiotia region and in the islands of Zakynthos and Kefalonia. According to a press release, Romanian citizens can request consular assistance at the Embassy in Athens and at the Romanian General Consulate in Thessaloniki, telephone numbers being available on Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
