Prime Minister Viorica Dancila pays a visit to Spain

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila is in Spain today, where she will meet with his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sánchez and with King Felipe VI. The Romanian Prime Minister will be accompanied by several cabinet members, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development and Public Administration, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Defense, Minister for Business Environment and European Funds. „On the occasion of this visit, we will discuss issues related to the European-level cooperation between Romania and Spain, deepening bilateral relations in the economic, defense, public administration, absorption of European funds fields”, said Viorica Dancila in yesterday’s government meeting. Romania continues to be in the first place in the European Union in terms of road fatality rate, according to a speciality European report. Almost 2,000 people have lost their lives last year on public roads in the country, namely there were 99 deaths per one million inhabitants, double the European average. 2017 was also the third consecutive year in which the number of deaths in road accidents increased. According to the association’s statement, among the contributing factors there are the poor national road network with one lane per sense or with verge incorrectly used by drivers, severe damage or lack of safety features, poor condition of the asphalt and too few kilometres of motorway. The National Museum of Romanian History can be visited free of charge until Sunday

The National Museum of Romanian History in Bucharest can be visited free of charge until Sunday, between 10:00 and 18:00. Both permanent exhibitions, such as „The Copy of Trajan’s Column”. „Lapidarium” and „Historical Treasure”,  as well as temporary ones such as „Romania in the Great War”, „Marasti, Marasesti, Oituz” or ‘Mircea the Elder – 600′ can be seen. The action aims to stimulate interest in Romanians’ history and culture in the context of the Romanian Centenary, according to a museum’s press release (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
