For a while, the recommendation to the police is to inform the citizens to ask them to respect the rules and only then will they move on to sanctions – explained the chief executive.

However, measures must be taken to make an appointment in advance and not to allow patients to stay in waiting areas. Also, non-COVID health units will be able to re-admit non-emergency patients, while maintaining access bans for their relatives. However, they must have an information system at their disposal. We remind you, as of today, the authorities have issued a state of alert on the territory of Romania for 30 days.

Reporter: GDP increased by 2.4% on gross series and by 2.7% on seasonally adjusted series. The seasonally adjusted series of quarterly GDP was recalculated following the inclusion of estimates for the first quarter of 2020, with differences from the previously published version. The signal estimates, as well as the provisional ones of the quarterly gross domestic product are affected by the difficulties created by the pandemic crisis and by the establishment of the state of emergency, states INS. On the seasonally adjusted series in the first quarter of 2020, compared to the previous quarter, GDP increased by 0.3%. Compared to the same quarter of 2019, GDP increased by 2.7%. On the gross series, compared to the same quarter of 2019, the gross domestic product in the first quarter of 2020 registered an increase of 2.4%, according to INS.
