A new transport of humanitarian aid collected by Tulcea residents is due to reach Ukraine. Donations were collected by means of the DAPS Call Center – Tulcea City Hall. The products were sent to Ukrainian towns and communes bordering the Tulcea County, at the request of local authorities and volunteers. After lunch, at Isaccea, the donations were transferred in two trucks that will deliver them in Ukrainian locations across the Danube (Ismail, Tatarbunar, Cetatea Alba and others). At the same time, donated goods are delivered to people who are accommodated in Tulcea. There were requests were made at the Call Center or, in many cases, Ukrainian citizens have gone directly to the DAPS headquarters in Isaccei Street no. 36, where they are registered and receive the available goods. On Friday, Tulcea City Hall organized 3 transports for Ukrainian citizens, all heading for Bucharest, and another three on Saturday (two for Bucharest, one for Galati).
