More than 100 Ukrainian refugees have been accommodated in the town of Sarichioi

Approximately 110 Ukrainian refugees have been accommodated in the town of Sarichioi, all women and children. Mayor Vitali Fenoghen said that one single family came with a father. “People accommodated in Sarichioi are only women and children. When we are talking about families, it’s like this – you have a grandmother, a daughter and two grandsons. If not a grandmother, then a mother with two children. There is just one family with a man, and they have five children. The rest of them are only women. And children”
A big problem they are facing is that people who house the refugees don’t receive any help from the state, says Vitali Fenoghen: “These sums they are giving, of 100 lei per person at guest houses, are ok, but not all are guest houses. There are also ordinary people, and ordinary people can’t present documents to justify. We don’t have a solution. For example, I have 30 people (accommodating refugees)”
The mayor in Sarichioi says that one of the important issues is the fact that guest houses where refugees are acommodate now have reservations after Easter.
