Eight ambulances donated to Ukraine by the Italian government have arrived in Siret

The President of the Suceava County Council (CJ), Gheorghe Flutur said that the first eight ambulances donated by the Italian Government as humanitarian support for Ukraine arrived, on Monday, at the Border Crossing Point (PTF) Siret.

According to the president of the Suceava County Council, humanitarian aid for Ukraine flows every day through PTF Siret, this being a „signal of solidarity” of the European Union with the Ukrainians hard tried by the armed conflict on the territory of their country. Mr Flutur said the eight ambulances sent by the Italian government are part of a batch of 22 such vehicles to be sent to Ukraine for help.

The president of the Suceava County Council specified that the ambulances were taken to the border by the deputy governor of the Chernivtsi region, Artur Muntean, and will be sent to Chernivtsi, Lviv or other areas where they are needed. According to Flutur, the B-type ambulances are not new, but they are needed during this period to rescue those in need. The other 14 ambulances from Italy will arrive in Suceava at the end of this week./opopescu
