75 people from Ukraine have been admitted to Romanian health care facilities, Health Minister Alexandru Rafila says

In the last week, from March 9 to March 15, 75 people from Ukraine have been admitted to Romanian health care facilities, Health Minister Alexandru Rafila has said. „The number of people admitted to hospital does not exceed 100. So, as of today, 75 people are admitted to hospital. As far as requests for medical assistance to county ambulance stations are concerned, these range within the same limit, of around 100 appeals registered daily. Some of these people have traveled to the health care units by their own, but the figures do not pose any problem with providing healthcare to all those in need” the health minister has said. According to Mr. Raffa, the National Health Insurance House (CNAS) has developed a system to identify and allocate a single code for refugees from Ukraine. „The CNAS has developed a system for identifying and allocating a unique code, based on the passport data, the date and place of birth of each person, a unique code to be used to highlight the medical services delivered to these people, so that they could benefit from a full range of services, including access to healthcare programs, just like Romanian patients”, Alexandru Rafila has said.
