Maramureş – Ukrainian children can study in schools across the county

More than 70 children who came from the conflict area of Ukraine have been registered as audience in schools across Maramureş, according to a press announcement from the School Inspectorate of Maramureş County.
The application has been made by the parent who accompanies the child or by a DGASPC representative, for unaccompanied children.
Children can attend, by choice, educational activities organized by the schools and also activities in special clubs or centers of education.
Students can be accommodated in the boarding schools for free, they have the right to basic food provided through social programs and also to clothing, books and stationery.
Some students chose to study in Ukrainian, in schools where this language is being taught, but there are also students who chose to study in Romanian or English.
