Ukrainian refugees begin to look for jobs in Braşov

Of the hundred refugees who expressed their wish to stay in Braşov, at least until the end of the conflict in Ukraine, less than ten have contacted the county agency for jobs in Braşov, to look for a place to work.

“Six employers have expressed their availability to hire people coming from Ukraine, offering 61 jobs. The jobs are in HoReCa, in constructions and in the automobile industry. So far, nine requests have been made from Ukrainian refugees”, said Liliana Dragomir, the chief of AJOFM Braşov.

She added that in Braşov, 1,400 jobs are still available, that could be occupied by Romanian or Ukrainian citizens.

Among them, there are no jobs for as doctors, nurses, lawyers, many of the refugees being qualified in those fields./aionita
