On Friday 8,730 Ukrainian nationals entered Romania, down 2.6% since the previous day.. A total of nearly 1,050,000 refugees have crossed the border from Ukraine since the start of the conflict on February 24th.
According to the Romanian border police, measures have been taken to strengthen border surveillance and to improve information and data exchanges with other relevant institutions, in order to handle possible problems.
