New app to monitor children who come from Ukraine

The Family Minister, Gabriela Firea, has announced the launch of the application meant to monitor children who came from Ukraine – PRIMERO. The app will help centralize information about accommodation places or about communities that house Ukrainian families with children or Ukrainian children accompanied by adults who are not their parents. The platform is functional all over the country and will allow access to essential services of child protection, including those of monitorization and family reuniting. According to minister Gabriela Firea, there are almost 37.000 Ukrainian children in our country and 220 are registered in the social protection system.

Romanian firefighters have closed their mission to extinguish wild fires in Greece and will be replaced, today, by firefighters in other European countries, in the joit mechanism of civil protection. Greece has seen hundreds of wild fires since the beginning of summer, many of them at the same time, caused by high temperatures, of over 40 degrees. Operations held this year were marked by the fall of a helicopter, close to Samos Island, that killed two people, including the Romanian pilot.
The Romanian mission was made of 56 firemen who worked in two consecutive teams of 28 people each. During the good-bye event, the Minister of climate crisis, Christos Stylianides, thanked the Romanian delegation for its substantial help. Christos Stylianides and his Romanian counterpart, Lucian Bode, have announced that the collaboration will continue at a bilateral level, but mostly through the European mechanism of civil protection.

A multinational joint military exercise, organized by The Romanian Naval Forces takes place in Constanţa

A multinational joint military exercise, organized by The Romanian Naval Forces will take place in Constanţa. It will happen in maritime districts on the Romanian coast of the Black Sea and in the military port Constanţa. Over 240 Romanian troops and 60 foreign military from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, France, Georgia and the USA will participate. The exercise contributes to the increasing the capacity level in fighting against improvised explosive devices and against mines, as well as to consolidating the interoperability between the participating forces.
