Romania must be prepared to be able to offer support to the Republic of Moldova, in the context of the security and energetic crisis, said Cătălin Drulă, president of the USR. He accused the government in Bucharest that it had a delayed reaction to insure necessary resources.
Cătălin Drulă: This energetic crisis finds the Republic of Moldova in a very difficult situation, and Romania should have be in a better situation to be able to move from words to action. A state lead by responsible politicians should have had at this moment a maximum level of energy, to be a direct exporter of electric energy and gas. Today, we would have been in a better position, instead of being in the situation to share Romania’s resources with our brothers in Moldova.
In this context, deputy Lilian Carp, president of the defense Committee in the legislative in Chișinău, stressed that, to ensure the energetic security for the Republic of Moldova the construction of high voltage lines on the two banks of Proute River must be finalized, that insure connection with Romania.

The Romanian state will take over the controlling stake of Blue Air

The Romanian stat will take over the controlling stake of Blue Air, after the airline hasn’t paid its rates and interests for the 300 million RON credit received two years ago, with a guarantee from the government. The Finance Ministry has asked yesterday the bank that offered the loan to execute the guarantee letters. The guarantee deposed by Blue Air included six airplanes, a land in Bucharest and 75% of the company’s shares. At the beginning of September, the Romanian company suspended its flights, after its accounts had been blocked because of the accumulated debt at the Minister of the Environment. The situation caused chaos in Romanian airports, thousands of passengers being forced to cancel their trips./aionita
