Romania is paying around 200 million euro annually to the EU for plastic packaging that it does not recycle

Romania pays almost 200 million euros per year to the European Union for plastic packaging that it does not recycle, waste experts say. According to a study carried out by the European Commission, in the last 50 years the use of plastic has increased by 20% and it is estimated that, in the next 10 years, this figure could double.
