The National Cybernetics Security Directorship recommends banning the installation and use of TikTok on work devices
The National Cybernetics Security Directorship (DNSC) recommends that authorities and public institutions in Romania ban downloading, installation and usage of TikTok app on work devices. Also, the ban should be extended to include any successor service of TikTok, developed or provided by ByteDance Limited or by an entity owned by this company. According to DNSC, these measures should be applied immediately to limit cybernetics security risks. Specialists warn that the TikTok app may collect many sensitive information about the user, including localization data or details about other accounts and passwords saved in the phone.

Romania has resumed dialogue with all Schengen member states, to insure that their position related to our country joining the free movement area has not changed, said the minister of internal affairs at the Security Forum for the Black Sea and Balkans area. Romania also tried to clarify Austria’s concerns, after it opposed to Romania joining the group last year.
Lucian Bode: Romania considers that the main weapon of diplomacy must be used again: the dialogue. Therefore, we have resumed dialogue with Austria on every level and all unclear aspects, if any, regarding the fulfillment of all Schengen criteria, have been, I think, cleared. And not least, Romania has resumed dialogue with all member states that have given us their approval in December. We have concluded that, in the case of a decision this year, their position will remain unchanged.

The Euro reached a new historic high today, compared to the Leu. The course, as calculated by The National Bank was of 4, 9783 Lei, in a slow but continuous rise in the last several days, with a rise of almost 0,05 bani compared to last week.
