President Klaus Iohannis  received a delegation made up of representatives of the business environment

On Wednesday, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis received a delegation made up of representatives of the business environment for talks on the  prospects of the Romanian business environment. The President said that this first round of consultations mainly had the role of assessing the opportunities, the issues and the priorities of the Romanian business environment.  He said he wanted to stimulate a strong and sustainable private initiative and entrepreneurship in the Romanian economy. Business representatives supported the need of a favorable economic climate and appreciated  that both legislation and government policies must address real issues facing business environment and in general the economy. American Embassy in Bucharest confirmed that many Romanian citizens are ineligible to obtain a visa to travel to America

American embassy in Bucharest confirmed that many Romanian citizens are ineligible to obtain a visa to travel to America, because they were convicted for criminal activities, including corruption. The Embassy also states that according to United States law, visa records are confidential and details about these cases can not be publicly discussed. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)

Four F-16 Falcon aircraft of the The Portuguese Air Force, deployed to Campia Turzii air base by the end of June, support protection missions of Romanian air space, in support of MIG 21 Lancer fighters. According to a press release of NATO Air Command in Rammstein, Germany, the Portuguese aircraft mission is included in the measures to support the safety of allied states consistent with operational practice applied over 60 years, in order to preserve and promote peace, stability and security  (RADIO ROMANIA reports).

Prime Minister Victor Ponta and Economy Minister Mihai Tudose pay a visit to the Republic of Moldova. Victor Ponta announced that he will meet with his counterpart, Chiril Gaburici, with whom will discuss a number of joint projects in energy and education. Government representatives in Bucharest will send, today, in Chisinau, a message of support for the European course and continuing the democratic reforms. According to Romanian Prime Minister, Romania wants to remain the most serious and important partner of the Republic of Moldova. (RADIO ROMANIA reports).
