More than 4,500 Ukrainian citizens and 1,033 cars registered in Ukraine have entered Romania in the last 12 hours

More than 4,500 Ukrainian citizens and 1,033 cars registered in Ukraine have entered Romania in the last 12 hours through the Rădăuţi Prut-Lipcani and Stânca-Costeşti border crossing points, the Institution of the Prefect of Botoşani County announced on Monday. According to the representatives of the Botoşani Prefecture, between February 27, 20.00 – 28 February, 1,908 people entered Romania through the Stânca border crossing point, and 2,627 people passed through Rădăuţi Prut. Out of the total of 4,535 refugees registered in the last 12 hours, 91 stated that they want to stay in Botoşani, 524 claim that they will stay in Romania, and the rest use Romania as a transit country. Until Monday morning, at 8.00 am, 753 people were temporarily accommodated in Botoşani County. Of these, 310 are located in the accommodation facilities arranged by the authorities, in Darabani, Păltiniş, Ştefăneşti, Mihăileni, Manoleasa, Agafton and Curteşti./opopescu
