Rădăuţi Prut became a 24-hour border crossing point

As of today, the Rădăuţi Prut border crossing point, located on the border of Botoşani County with Republic of Moldova, is operating non-stop. Until now, the working program was between 08:00 – 20:00.  For traffic’s optimisation, as the influx of Ukrainian citizens is increasing, all three entry lines to Romania were opened, Sorin Andronache, the spokesman of the Botoșani Prefecture said. He also informed us that, at the moment, all the pensions in Botoşani County are occupied, but the people who come from Ukraine do not apply for asylum in Romania, instead they want to travel to Western European countries.
