IES employees sent on a mission to support Ukrainian citizens

Fourteen employees of the Harghita County Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, respectively two officers and 12 non-commissioned officers, left for Suceava on Thursday, with a passenger minibus and a special vehicle for operative work, to join the support mission for Ukrainian citizens entering Romania through the border points in this county. According to the institution’s representatives, the Harghita military firefighters will provide missions within the operational dynamics for the good management of the situation generated by the current context at the border with Ukraine. Last night, a mobile camp belonging to ISU Prahova, served by four military firefighters, arrived at the headquarters of the IES subunit in the municipality of Miercurea Ciuc, Harghita County, and will be operationalized if necesary. Providing accommodation and food for 201 people, the camp is equipped with tents, folding beds, air conditioning and lighting systems, sleeping bags, trash cans and nets to ensure / direct the circuit of people, as well as a generator and a mobile kitchen./opopescu
