The Arad County Committee for Emergency Situations adopted on Friday a decision establishing the accommodation locations of foreign citizens or stateless persons coming from the area of the armed conflict in Ukraine, entering Romania and not requesting a form of protection, according to Law no. 122/2006 on asylum in Romania.
A series of spaces have been made available by the Arad County Council and several town halls in Arad County, for which these institutions can provide, in the short term and until the emergence of any new legal regulations, accommodation services, meals and primary care were centralized at the level of the Institution of the Prefect. The number of accommodation places in these spaces is 763, of which 187 in Arad Municipality.
„All the representatives of the decentralized institutions in Arad are ready to offer specialized support in their fields for the citizens of Ukraine who will stay in our area for a longer time,” said the Prefect of Arad County, Toth Csaba.
The management of accommodation places for citizens from conflict zones in Ukraine will be done through the County Center for Management and Coordination of Intervention within the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations „Vasile Goldiș” of Arad County, with permanent schedule, phone number 0748.112.024 – says the RRA correspondent Ioan Suciu./aboboc
