„Brasov for Ukraine” website is operational for refugees and people willing to help them

As of Monday, the online platform „Brasov for Ukraine” has become operational, by accessing the link

It offers all the information needed by Ukrainian refugees and people in Brasov County who are willing to help them, by means of donations or volunteering. The website has two sections – one in Romanian, for those who want to help, including a form launched last week by the City Hall, where donations are registered and also news on the activity in CATTIA center.

The Ukrainian section includes all information that a refugee needs, from the call-center number, which is operational non-stop, to the registering forms, where they can fill in details of their immediate or longer term needs, information of the public transport in the city – which is free – information on medical services and events organized in Brasov for the refugees.

There are also recommendations on safety and avoiding people trafficking, a list of institutions, contact numbers and usefull addresses, including details on applying for residence or citizenship, registering for studies or Romanian language classes, and event judicial advice or psychological advice. The platform ua.brasovcity.ro and the website launched last week are created by volunteers and associations that have joined the efforts made by authorities for the „Brasov for Ukraine initiative.” The call-center phone number is +40371784071 and is available non-stop. e-mail: ua@brasovcity.ro.
