Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu will travel to Brussels on Friday together with Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu to meet European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker. Romanian Prime Minister said that he will give clarifications to European leaders on the situation created following the adoption of emergency Ordinance 13 on amending the Criminal Code. Regulation of drug advertising should encourage their rational use and combat misleading advertising – this is the theme of debate of a conference to be attended by representatives of authorities, of patients, doctors and drugmakers. The discussions will be both about advertising for the general public and about promotion among doctors in order to stimulate the prescription of certain drugs, promotion which includes providing samples and conferences sponsorship. 500 American troops arrived at „Mihail Kogalniceanu” air base
500 American troops arrived at „Mihail Kogalniceanu” air base in Constanta county together with military equipment fitted: tanks, combat vehicles and mortars. The American soldiers take part in the Operation Atlantic Resolve to strengthen security on the eastern flank of NATO and they will participate in several multinational exercises with the Romanian land forces. Lieutenant Colonel Marius Moneanu, 284th Tank Battalion Galați: „Any joint exercise with partners in the Alliance is a plus won both for us and for them. The experience we share in these exercises help us to increase interoperability with the Alliance structures. Also, using the same tactics, we can prepare ourselves to be ready for any mission when asked. (RADIO ROMANIA reports)
