Virtual edition of the educational fair World Education Fair

More than 30 educational institutions in Europe and USA will attend today the virtual edition of the educational fair World Education Fair. The online event takes place between 2 pm and 6 pm. Students and their families have the opportunity to discuss online to the representatives of educational institutions abroad, be them universities, schools or high-schools. Also, there will be online seminaries and other specific events taking place.

Ana-Maria Papp is the development director of IntegralEdu, the most important educational consultant in Romania, for studying abroad.

Ana-Maria Papp: There are more than 30 foreign educational institutions attending, camps, high-schools and universities from Austria, Italy, Great Britain, Netherlands, Denmark, The United States of America. During the event visitors can talk to official representatives of the universities or high-schools or the organizers of camps, so that they have an individual discussion about the opportunities they offer. Also, they can attend webinars addressed to studying abroad, discover which the new trends are regarding educational destinations and also get in contact with education IntegralEdu experts to start the admittance process.

The fair will also be organized on April 17th in Bucharest, on April 18th in Constanţa and on April 19th in Galaţi.

The stock exchange in Bucharest indicates a strong tendency to recover. After a difficult year for the economy, for the stock exchange but also for the investment fund industry, especially in the second half of the year 2020 the number of investors grew, according to the officials of the Stock Exchange who, today, organized a debate, after the official opening of the transactions session.

After two very complicated quarters of the year 2020 for the economy, for the stock exchange but also for the investment fund industry, we now see a strong trend of recovery, said mister Radu Hanga, president of the Stock Exchange in Bucharest. He added that, as far as entry of funds are concerned, the second half of last year was a very good one, especially on the segment of investments. Radu Hanga stressed that it is encouraging to see this trend that brings money from the area of the bank deposits, of the fixed income investing, towards instruments that give exposure towards the Stock Exchange Bucharest.

Cultural events in Gorj, marking 145 years since the birth of the sculptor Constantin Brâncuşi

Several cultural events are taking place today in the district of Gorj, marking 145 years since the birth of the sculptor Constantin Brâncuşi. Exhibitions, book releases, theater performances and a project inspired by the art of the great artist are some of the moments that evoke the personality and genius of the man known as “The Father of Modern Sculpture”

As a sign of appreciation for the great sculptor Constantin Brâncuşi, the local authorities in Târgu Jiu organize, for the 145th anniversary of the sculpture’s birthday, “Brâncuşi colloquies”. The events will begin today, in Gorj district, several exhibitions of small sculpture and books will be organized. The project also involves a creation workshop organized with the students from the Art Highschool. The cultural events will go on tomorrow in Târgu Jiu.
