The number of Ukrainian refugees who enter Romania through Siret border crossing has been dropping for several days.
Many of those who flee war stop now in Cernăuţi, while part of the Ukrainian population is blocked in besieged cities.
Organizations that manage refugee aid now analyze the way people who remain in the affected areas could receive basic goods.
The President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Mr Francesco Rocca, has arrived at Siret border crossing point, after an official visit in Ukraine.
Francesco Rocca: “The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the situation in detail, in all the Red Cross subsidiaries on the Ukrainian side, and the most important necessities on the field are food, hygienic kits and other basic materials, to be able to give necessary help and reestablish a certain degree of dignity over the situation Ukrainians are in right now”
