CFR Freight is ready to transport big quantities of grain from Ukraine and even considers it will gain a serios profit out of this activity. Daniel Apostolache, the general director of the firm, said that even since May they could see a rise of cereal transport at a level that hasn’t been reached in the last five years. He gave insurances that CFR Freight is not in danger to default and even registered an operational profit of 77 million lei in the first six months of the year.
At the moment, CFR Freight has a market market share of 33%, but has to return a debt of over 2,5 billion lei to the Finance Minister and to the Infrastructure CFR Company.

The border inspector in Constanţa have confiscated over 1,5 million lei worth of sport shoes and toys coming from China, suspected of being counterfeited. The goods were destined to two commercial societies in Romania. In a separate action, developed by the border inspectors in Otopeni confiscated over 25.000 lei worth of cigarettes. A great help came from Maya, a dog specialized in such operations, that discoverd the goods in the baggge of a traveller who was trying to go through the „Nothing to Declare” pathway. Inspectors searched the luggage and discovered the hidden freight.

„Healthy lives, strong women” – the awareness campaign for gynecological cancers run under this slogan aims to reveal the importance of reventing several forms of cancer, especially among young women, because doctors have seen a rise in cases at this age range. More and more young women go to the doctor and are diagnosed with ovarian or cervix cancer.
Doctors warn that a visit at the gynecologist can save women’s lives. Usually, gynecological cancers in early stages don’t have symptomes.
In Romania, according to Globocan, 3,500 new cervix cancer cases have been diagnosed in 2020.. Worldwide, aproximately 604,000 cervix cancer cases there have been discovered. According to the same source, in Romania, in 2020, there have been diagnosed 1,909 ovarian cancer and over 1,120 ovarian and cervix cancer cases.
