103 Romanians have been granted permission to leave Gaza

103 Romanians in Gaza and their families have, last night, been granted permission to leave Gaza through the Rafah border crossing point and enter Egypt, sais the foreign minister. Romanians have been informed about the procedure, and their evacuation in Egypt will take place on Tuesday, respecting specific imposed reglementation. They will be brought home from Cairo on a special flight. Also, Romanian authorities continue their dialogue with their Egyptian and Israeli counterparts, for the evacuation of other Romanian citizens and their families who asked for help and are still in Gaza.

The „The Theatre Maker” performance, directed by Alexandru Dabija will open, on Tuesday, in Ploieşti, the 13th edition of the International Theatre Festival „Toma Caragiu”. The cast includes Marcel Iureş, Alexandru Bindea and Ana Ciontea. The festival, which takes place until November the 12, includes productions of the national theaters „I.L. Caragiale”, in Bucharest, „Radu Stanca”, in Sibiu, „Marin Sorescu”, in Craiova, and of teams from Bulandra Theater, the Comedy Theater, Act Theater in Bucharest and the National „Eugene Ionesco” Theater in Chişinău.

President Klaus Iohannis will make an official visit to Belgium

Tomorrow, President Klaus Iohannis will make an official visit to Belgium, where he will be welcomed by King Phillip, and he will talk to the Belgian prime minister Alexander de Croo. His visit comes before Belgium takes over the presidency of the European Union, in the first semester of 2024. The agenda of the meeting will include economic and political relationships, the enhancement of commerce and investments, as well as collaboration in fields such as energetic security, research and health, education and culture.
